Supportive housing gives clients the foundation and resources on which to stabilize and rebuild their lives.
Promotes Self-Sufficiency.
Support services – including connections to mental health care, job training, addiction counseling, education, and training in basic life skills – are designed to help the individual eliminate substance use and properly treat mental health issues.
Assists In The Process Of Securing And Retaining Employment. Support staff help clients make connections to training, job placement, education, and the development of necessary skills required to secure employment.
Promotes Early Intervention Care.
Through daily contact with clients, service staff can see and respond to signs of deteriorating mental health, depression, relapse into addiction, and other problematic conditions. This early intervention can help a client secure appropriate treatment before a problem becomes a crisis.
